SPD Status Monitoring Terminal

This is an intelligent SPD status monitoring terminal that collects SPD's ground leakage current, protection switch status, lightning strike information (count/time), PE wire connection status, and temperature-humidity, while recording alarm data. It can form an intelligent lightning protection system with monitoring software and power environment RTU to realize remote centralized monitoring, featuring small size for easy integration and convenient installation & maintenance.

  • SPD Status Monitoring Terminal

1. High-precision Multi-parameter Collection: Supports 3-channel leakage current collection (range 100uA~150mA, accuracy ±10%), 1-channel NTC temperature collection (-30~160℃), and built-in temperature-humidity collection (temperature -20~60℃, humidity 0~100%RH). It fully captures SPD operation status and provides accurate data support for fault early warning.

2. Reliable Lightning Strike Monitoring & Recording: Equipped with 1-channel lightning surge collection, with trigger current 0.5kA~100kA and support for T1/T2/T3 surge types. It can record the latest 9999 lightning strike dates and times, and data is not lost after power failure, facilitating traceability of lightning risks.

3. Strong Anti-interference & Flexible Communication: The serial port is equipped with a surge protection circuit, the collection port adopts photoelectric isolation, and the MCU has enhanced shielding. It comes with standard RS485 (MODBUS RTU protocol, address adjustable 1~128) and supports Ethernet, Lora, 4G expansion, adapting to data transmission needs in different scenarios.

4. Intelligent Life Assessment & Alarm: Based on leakage current changes and trends, it calculates the remaining life of 3-channel SPD in real time via algorithms (green/orange/red indicators for normal/early warning/alarm). When Y2 remote signal is triggered, it links to alarm and requires manual intervention for recovery, avoiding missed judgment risks.

5. Convenient Installation & Data Preservation: Adopts standard 35mm DIN rail installation with plug-in terminals; alarm data is permanently saved after power failure, and clock data is retained for more than 6 months after power failure, reducing maintenance costs and data loss risks.

Model TDZ-SZJ

  1. Power Supply: 12VDC input, with reverse connection protection

  2. Device Power Consumption: 1W

  3. Communication Interface: RS485 (MODBUS RTU protocol), default baud rate 9600 (adjustable), parity N, data bit 8, stop bit 1; address adjustable 1~128 (default 1)

  4. Collection Function Leakage current: 3 channels, 100uA~150mA (accuracy ±10%); NTC temperature: 1 channel, -30~160℃ (supports high/low temperature alarm); Switch quantity: 2 channels (photoelectric isolation, passive dry contact); Lightning surge: 1 channel (trigger current 0.5kA~100kA, records 9999 times); Temperature-humidity: built-in, temperature -20~60℃, humidity 0~100%RH; PE wire detection: 1 channel (identifies non-grounding/false grounding)

  5. SPD Remaining Life Calculated via leakage current algorithm, local indicators (green/orange/red) and remote data reading, corresponding to remaining life 31%~100%/1%~30%/0%

  6. Data Preservation Alarm data: permanently saved after power failure; Clock data: retained ≥6 months after power failure

  7. Shell Material: PC+ABS (gray, color customizable for orders ≥500pcs), flame retardant grade V0

  8. Installation Method: Standard 35mm DIN rail

  9. Operating Environment Temperature: -25~70℃, humidity 0~95%RH (no condensation)

  10. Firmware Upgrade Remote upgrade via serial port; supports remote upgrade in transparent transmission mode when expanding Ethernet/Lora/4G modules

1. Railway/Rail Transit Systems: Installed in signal cabinets and distribution boxes along the line, it monitors SPD status in real time to avoid signal interruption caused by lightning strikes, solving the problems of long manual inspection cycles and large blind spots, and ensuring transportation safety.

2. Wind Farm Equipment: Used in wind turbine distribution boxes and control room lightning protection cabinets, it remotely collects leakage current, temperature and humidity data, and timely detects SPD failure, reducing maintenance costs caused by lightning damage to wind turbine control systems.

3. Expressway Electromechanical Facilities: Deployed in toll stations and monitoring center distribution cabinets, it monitors SPD lightning strike count and protection switch status, and links with power environment systems to realize centralized monitoring, avoiding the impact of thunderstorm weather on toll collection and monitoring functions.

4. Civil Aviation Airport Facilities: Applied in terminal communication cabinets and navigation equipment lightning protection boxes, it accurately monitors PE wire connection status and SPD temperature, preventing lightning electromagnetic pulses from damaging communication and navigation equipment, and ensuring normal flight operations.
