The VN6 series features a partially spherical V-notched ball core that delivers near-equal percentage flow characteristics, functioning as an angular stroke control valve where the V-notched core rotates against the sealing surface at low openings to regulate fluid flow. This innovative design significantly expands the flow turndown ratio while, when paired with specially engineered sealing seats featuring unique elastic lip structures, provides exceptional shearing and anti-clogging performance for fibrous and particulate-laden media. These capabilities make it particularly suitable for control systems requiring wide turndown ratios, as well as for handling fiber-containing fluids and slurry-type media.
