Types of product use

1. Industrial control of processes

• Petrochemical: measurement of the consumption of technological gases, liquefied gas, light hydrocarbons.           

   Corrosion -resistant materials (for example, Hasstell alloy) for aggressive environments.

• Chemical industry: monitoring of acids, alkalis, solvents. The selection of lining is required (for example, PTFE).

• Pharmaceuticals/food industry: hygienic execution (TRI-CLAMP compounds) for pure liquids (water, drug solutions, syrups).

2. Energy and housing and communal services

• Steam: measurement of saturated and overheated steam (boiler rooms, heating networks) with temperature-pressure compensation.

• Gas: Commercial accounting of natural gas and LNG (ATEX explosion protection is required).

    Typical installation problems:
    • Insufficient straight sections (10D to and 5D after the consumption where D is the diameter of the pipe) → Measurement error.
    • Vibrations (for example, from pumps or compressors) → Distortion of the vortex signal.
    • Incomplete pipe (for liquids) → Incorrect indications.
    Installation rules:
    ✅ Horizontally (recommended for gas/pair).
    ✅ Vertically (for liquids, from the bottom up to ensure complete filling).
    ✅ Far from the sources of vibration (you can use damping supports).
